Lots of requirements, it wont be easy to qualify.

He is 4 years old, 105 lbs. He is fixed, housebroken, not dog aggressive.

Can stay inside all day without messing the house. Will bark when someone comes to the door. Will try to eat cats, will not eat the mailman, yardman or anyone else that comes to the house to work. He does not dig in the yard, but will eat a garden hose if left unprotected. He is horse friendly. We live on an acre and he is used to running around outdoors (when it is not too hot.) He will not try to escape from yard.

He sheds a lot. We have to get rid of him because of daughter's allergies, and wife refuses to make him a 24/7 outside dog.

Beautiful Dog, would love to have him. Met all the requirements but one.... I have a cat....

My 13 year old ****-Zu went to Doggy heaven this morning, I am still in shock.

Guess not.
Well, shewas a Kaka-Zu if you know what I mean.....
Little breed, white and black...long hair...cute...
She died in my arms about 10 am this morning and I am still majorly upset.

LOL about the " ***** " -Zu , not the passing of your pet, my dog of 17 years died many many years ago and still think about him from time to time, i know what you are going thru i've been there.

i may know of someone that may be interested in taking him, i will let her know about this post.

"shissezu" :p Sorry. not a laughing matter.

There you go.

German shepheards are my favorite dogs. Period. I have had 4 over the past 20 years and 4 Rottweilers and as far as intelligence goes, the Shepheards by far, outdid the Rotties in all regards.

Andrea,
sorry to hear about your loss.We had a Shi@zu & lost her to cancer about 18 months ago.The thing that broke our hearts,is that the pain killed her before the cancer did.We had no choice, but to put her down,as she was in agony & no matter how much pain meds we gave her it had no affect. That little dog ran the rest of my pack, when I wasn't around the house-all the other dogs were terrified of that 14lb terror. It's never really the best time to adopt a new dog after just loosing another,as your emotions can play too big a role.I do believe, however that things sometimes just happen for a reason. It was just about 4 or 5 weeks ago I picked up my 2 new additions to the pack-when I first met them,we just "clicked".Like you said Shephards are smart dogs & I'm sure if you're willing to try,you could make it a cat friendly dog.Once again sorry for your loss & best wishes.D

Thanks for your kind words, Darcy.
Tiny was not showing any symptoms until this past Wednesday, when she stopped eating. Yesterday, she was coughing and this morning I knew something was severely wrong with her, when I got up. When I took her to the Animal Hospital, her temp was down to 95 degrees and the Vet suggested Euthanization. She passed on, before they even put the Katheder in her. Sorry for the babble, but I am really, really upset...

Andrea, very sorry to hear that, lets take a trip to Jupiter tomorrow, I am sure the fish geek party will cheer you up, I will drive this time, let me know.

Andrea I am sorry for your loss.... Only time and expression will help with the pain. As you and Darcy I lost my doggie recently too . It was to cancer.
Talk about your little doggie...talk a lot. I enjoy talking about my doggie so much, and it helps with the healing process...
He was a guardian to both my kids and my 2 nephews. Truly a family dog, I will never forget.
I take my doggie everywhere I go now....in my heart.
My heart goes out to you...

Thank you very much for the invite Rogger, I would have loved to go. But I'm in the Keys and and I should have my BC and tank on here in another hour.

Andrea, I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. We lost our previous GSD at 14 and it was quite traumatic for the whole family. It would be fine to try him out if you like. We can drive him over to your home and he might not be aggressive if he is not on his turf with the cat being the invader. Have a great time today on the water. We'll be with Rogger at the party, if you change your mind.
