Anybody in the business or know of someone who is?

Does anyone know of a place where they have a large showroom where we can see many models? I hate going from place to place to see two here and three there.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hey Carlos... if you want to see lots of bathroom vanities just head over to your nearest Holiday Inn. They have tons of bathroom vanities.

i think IKEA doesn't have that, at least the one in NJ were i use to live didn't have them, but they have nice furniture and tons of cheap decorations

Carlos I heard the P dept at hialeah had some in stock right next to the boats and vehicales for auction.J/K!lol

I went to IKEA Saturday and they were only open to the trade, not to the public. As for the holiday inn, I went there and ran into ghstrider's wife and her "cousin." And the impound lot is empty, as one of my P. Rican collegues took the last one and traded it with his doctor for free gas. I'll look into IKEA online. Thanks

niiiiiiiiiiice!

go to doral, they have a ton of stores in a very small area that specialize in these types of things, some in a wholesale style environment. My father-in-law is a plumber and they usually just order stuff from catalogs from the manufacturers.

Ditto, we did the Doral circuit and got a ton of ideas. Expo is also great for ideas, but extremely expensive unless you buy off the rack. If you are looking for one of the "Furniture-style" vanities, definitely go to Expo. We ended up with American Standard from Home Depot, modeled our bathroom after one of the Doral showcases, and bought tiles in Hialeah.

Thanks guys, I heard of two places in the Doral tile district that might have what I'm looking for. We tried expensive EXPO, got some good ideas, but out of our league.

If you are looking for modern stuff there is a place in Doral called Porcelanosa. They have tons of complete rooms setup. I shopped the whole doral strip and was sorry I didn't go to this place first. I decked out my whole condo with this stuff when I was renovating. Check them out on the web.

Also, if you're looking for unique...just take an old but sturdy dresser and put a nice marble vanity top on it! I've seen this done also with the vessel type sinks and it looks awesome. That way you have something no one else does too...very one of a kind. Wish I could do it in our condo, but we need tons of storage, so we're going with a 60" multiple drawer setup from Lowe's.

salty, thanks, looked at the website nice stuff!!!
Kat, we have thought about that alot............would like a large bombay chest with a nice granite slab with lots of movement and a nice vessel.
