O/T: RC Cars

Some years ago I was really into the r/c car hobby. I owned a few Traxxas and HPI models, both nitro and electric. As with most other hobbies I grew out of it, however lately I've been considering purchasing a used Nitro car, maybe even electric since they're less troublesome, however the biggest turn-off for me previously was the lack of people/tracks in my area. This was when I lived in Chattanooga. I'm not sure if there are any local onroad tracks, or any place around the area that holds any weekend racing/etc. I figured some of your R/C plane guys might be able to chime in. Any help?

I have a Savage still, had it for about 6 yrs. Havent used it in a while. Had some revo's also in the past. As for as on road cars and tracks, I think you could try Hobby Lobby in franklin. They have a track behind their building. Not sure of any local ones though. There is a off road one out off of hwy 96 just outside of mboro.
