Oatey Epoxy Putty?

I was looking for AquaMend at Lowe's and ended up only finding Oatey Epoxy Putty in the plumbing section. Before I try using this in my tank, I wanted to make sure it wasn't going to contaminate my system. Does anybody know? Thanks.

I have used it before with no problems. I don't think it's any different than aquamend. Keep an eye on your skimmer as it may cause it to act up.

Check the label, it may say contains steel or steel-filled.
Here only this kind is available.
