I've noticed, since i've been dosing vitamin c, that my pulsating xenia tree has been dividing like crazy...has anyone else experienced the same thing happening?

I've been dosing for about a month now. My findings are odd. The main reason I started dosing was for the benefit of my zoos. I can't explain it, but most of them were multiplying like crazy, but then reached a point where they either stopped, or started disappearing. Not "all" of the varieties, just some of them.

I haven't noticed that much of a benefit yet the zoos I was having trouble with yet, but my SPS has taken off growth wise like crazy. I've always had a problem with cotton candy algae, and have also recently noitced it starting to pale considerably from it's nowmal dark red color.

My skimming has also improved greatly. I run a G-4 for about 160 gallons syatem, and the skimming has always been pretty mild. I know the skimmer I have is over kill so I never worried about it's performance too much. Since dosing the C however, I'm getting an increasing rate of dark skimming production.

There are definite improvements do to the C. I just wish they would have a more positive effect for the reason I originally intended.

I did the vitamin C also to my tank for about a month now. I am still getting some death in my zoas, have yet to see any benefits to any of my zoos doing this treatment. I too have notice my sps growing, but I don't think it is because of adding Vit-C. I will keep it up until I run out of the first bottle of Vit-C, but will not order again if I don't see a significant change.
