OcEan-BluE - frags

OcEan-BluE (sorry, I left my name translator chart at home) Last month you mentioned you wanted some xenia frags (in your free light thread). However, in the thread it sounded like you may have picked up some in the trade for your light. Neither of us followed up and I did not want to leave you hanging....

I am breaking down my frag tank and the only things I have left in there are a few very rare specimens (:hmm3:) Intergalactic xenia, a few Crazy Apple Without Worms GSP, South Africa Blind Monkey Kenya trees and a large softball size rock covered with what I believe to be Dallas Cheerleader pom-pom's. Some may argue they are just plain old xenia, GSP, Kenya Trees and Pom-pom's. I wanted to give you first dibs if you still wanted something. If you recall the price is free or you have to throw in some no-name zoa's or impress me with some equally exotic corals. If you want the pom-pom I wouldn't mind getting a clean rock in exchange as I want to transfer the frag rocks to my main tank sump.

Lastly, I do have a rare green strain of Chaeto I need to thin out. I think either Chris or Tim wanted some so you guys have first dibs.

If I do not hear from you by Friday, it goes to anyone else that speaks up...er...types up. Once again, you have to pick it up by Saturday as I am taking my frag tank down (the whole massive 14G).

I will take all the chaeto you want to get rid of. Let me know when you are available and i'll come and take it off your hands.

Hey that sounds good with the xenia i did get a little bit as a trade for the light but I would like some more. WHat would you like me to bring you? Zoas? a clean rock I see as u said. anything else? I have a few sps frags.

Matt: Saturday will be best for me. I am thinking somewhere around 10:30-11AM?
You don't have to bring me anything really. If you have a rock that is available to exchange that would be great, but not necessary if it is not convenient to pull one out. I was just going to use it in my sump. You also don't need a coral to exchange. If you have anything you are bored with (other than sticks) that's fine, but I won't be expecting anything. If you frag something down the road you can cut me a good deal at that time.

Chris: Does that time work for you for the Chaeto?

Phillip: Does that time work for you for the Chaeto?

I will shoot you all PM's with my address later. If I post it here people from Missouri will be knocking on my door trying to get me to drink the SPS kool-aid.

I will be gone all day Sat visiting grandfather in Pickwick. I have all day tomorrow avail and Sun as well (unless wife made plans for me)

Kerry I have some Tyree pulsing blue and pink madness xenia...Let me know if you want a frag?

This is a joke!! You love you some Xenia!!!!

Well I cannot say I "love" the Xenia, but I will defend the Xenia, it is cool. Since most of the guests at my house are not SPS reefers, they actually enjoy the rhythmic pulsing of a xenia. At first I did not like them after they started to stretch out and multiply, but then I realized that all I needed to do was take a pair of scissors and cut them back (almost to the rock) and they quickly regrouped and I simply watched them grow all over again. So one quick two second snip every three months or so and I have a well behaved entertaining coral.

The next time you have some guests over I will lend you a couple so they have something to enjoy...

I could conduct a formal poll and you can break of a twig from your sticks and I can put it next to the xenia and I can have folks vote on their favorate coral....:p

Chris: I am at work today, but Sunday morning may work. Let me know a time that works for you on Sunday and we can try to work it out. If not, we can try again next weekend.

Hey rudolph. im going to have to pass on the corals for the moment. I am trying to work some things out with another tank right now.

hey rudolph.. I got the new tank up and the old one out now. that was quite a chore. was wondering if your still trying to thin out your Chaetomorpha strand.??? I need some for the new tank. what about your xenia and Alabama Crimson Tide Pom Pom's??? still available??? wanting to put some more into my clown and nem add on tank.

Matt: Yes, all the orphen coral adoption paperwork was completed last weekend when I broke down my frag tank. They are anxiously waiting to go to their new home with their new owner.

As these are all rare specimens, I will assume you will provide your own security detail, otherwise, take them at your own risk....

The challenge will be finding a time. As I am going out of town on Monday, I have a pretty full weekend shaping up at the is time. What are the best times for you? I am not sure where you live. If we are across town from each other, I may be able to meet somewhere in between depending on how my social planner (spousal unit) plans the weekend. At this time Saturday AM and Sunday AM are probably out. Shoot me a PM and we can go from there.....
