Ocean Revive Arctic-S026 LED

Hi there!

Just curious - I have a 92-gallon quarter circle tank - basically it’s a triangular bow from, with the back two sides being 34” and the bow front from corner to corner being a straight 48”, and a depth of 24”. I have mostly SPS, some LPS, very few softies.

I am currently running a 250W MH/LED fixture, which generally does pretty well, although I don't get much light in the back corner.

What suggestions would anyone have for an LED fixture - should I go with 2 Arctics, side by side? My current fixture is hung from two hooks in the ceiling - I would prefer not to have to play with anything else on the ceiling above my tank.

Thanks for any info,

Kerstin:-)

They aren't bad, I ordered the IT2040 one and it's got the timer and everything built in. Remote included.

Might be ordering another one or two for my frag tank build. The version your looking at, they are coming out with a timer version as well. Check their sponsor page, I believe they uploaded some photos of it.

You ditching the ATI?

To the OP, if you're looking for more spread, make sure you get LEDs from end to end. Coverage is one of LEDs biggest drawbacks, so you generally just need more to do an adequate job.

Never, maybe add LEDs to it later on. My T5s have proven to me they grow corals.

I am selling my 2 kessil a350w and switching to two of the ocean revive artics. Saw them at my buddies house last night and was very impressed. Looking to get better par. I am actually going to be making some money buy doing these. 2 for my 90 should suffice, any thoughts?

I'd say two SO26's (orT247's) for your 90 would do. Just mount them higher for more spread. I keep it from bleaching my coral with it 12"s above the water line running at 75%. I get outstanding growth on my birdsnest at about 2mm a day. Only additives are kalk and mag. Almost too bright for my lps, they all sit on the side lines. That new T247 looks bad to the bone....

Hi everyone

I have read a lot about the evergrow d120 and the or-arctic s026 but I haven't decided which one I'll buy.
For a +/- 39G, 28 in x 20 x 20 one arctic s026 will be enough? Which one is the best?
Most of my corals are sps and some lps.
Sorry for my poor english but I'm portuguese.

Best regards for all

Love mine. Have 3 over my 180 and couldn't be happier. Switched from MH/t5 combo and was a little hesitant in doing so. Still only a few weeks in but very impressed so far.
