Oceanic 84x24x24 with corner overflows

How long ago was this size tank made?

I am looking at a used one and was wondering how far back, were these size tanks made.

Kind of an odd size it seems.

I don't see anyone making 7 foot long tanks anywhere except special order.

What do you guys think?

TIA

I'am not a 100 percent sure, but all of the oceanic tanks that I have seen that where made in the last five years or so did not have corner overflows. That being said, while pricing out a new 180 my LFS told me that Oceanic still makes corner overflow tanks but was never able to get me a price on one. The seven foot throws me off too, perhaps it was a special order.

Oceanic used to make 200 gal tanks.

To my knowledge they no longer make them. I was looking into geting one myself, but bought a 180 instead.

Gary, I can tell you that these tanks are 5+ years old...I know because I am selling that exact tank right now....where in NC are you?

All-Glass and Oceanic are now the same company correct? I bought my all-glass about a year ago brand new with corner overflows. Just a thought. Sound's like you could do some dealings with saber though. Sorry should have read more. It's a little late for me and I'm a little tired, on that note..... I was thinking 6 ft tank

i have that tank.. its at least 9 yrs old

Is there a possibility that these 7 footers are any newer than 9 yrs old?

What is the average life of an older tank anyway?

Thanks for your help and any opinions are welcome.:D

I was recently told by a lfs owner that AGA was refraining from making larger tanks. Since Oceanic is now owned by AGA the 200 gal tank no longer being made available.
