Oceans Motion on a return manifold?

I have set up both my tanks with manifolds on the return from the sumps. I have been thinking about an Oceans Motion to a split manifold to get more water flow out of each side of the manifold and eliminate the need for powerheads. Anyone tried this and has anyone come up with a homebrew for an OM?

I only had so much room to work with. So it looks alot more complicated than it really is. I have the revolution devices in the tank. They keep the flow patterns changing all the time.
