Hello,

I already have a well established tank (6 months) with one highfin-goby and Pistol shrimp "pair" + 1 peppermint shrimp.

Im planning on buying 2 ocellaris clowns and i want to buy a host for the clowns but i cant support an anemone too well because my lighting is the very minimal for some of the anemones and im not experienced with anemones.

My Question is which corals that will or that you had that the clown fish hosted with.( even if it was the most unusual pair with the coral and clown)

Thanks alot

Mine live in my Sarcophyton

If im correct thats a toadstool.

I have never seen the polyps extend so far like that. Do you add anything specail to the water besides iodine and reef trace elements.

O and did the clown quickly adapt to the toadstool or did it take a while.

Thanks

clowns host whatever they want, doa search of this forum and you will see that they host anything and everything they want.

my juvi onyx hosts my torch coral and my 1.5" ocellaris hosts a hole in the rocks... the ocellaris took months to enjoy that hole... (sounds dirty) and the onyx jumped in the first day... both are captive bred
