I've had my ocellaris pair for about 3 years now. They live happily with their BTA. They have not spawned yet, but I noticed them pretend spawning? I didn't realize they would do this. They both cleaned the area, then the female would pretend to lay eggs then the male would pretend to fertilize them. They did this on and off all day. Is this something common or are mine just different, or is something wrong?

I'm glad to hear it's normal. I thought she may be having trouble or something. They have really changed their attitudes lately. They used to never mind me cleaning the tank or feeding the BTA. Now they both attack me. Especially the female. Must be the female hormones kicking in. Every living creature in the tank is afraid of her. To be honest, I almost had a heart attack the first time she attacked my hand.
