Ocellaris sex change timing

I have an Ocellaris in my tank that lost its male mate to carpet surfing. I want to get a new one to pair up. I want to hypo-QT the new immature Ocellaris for about 6-8 weeks. Will it change sex (become female) during that time?

my best guess is that it would...but i mean if he is CB you shouldnt have a problem with any disease i would a just put him in or b put bopth of them in QT

I was afraid of that. I agree that the CB fish will be hearty and healthy, but it will probably have ich on it. I have spent a lot of time QT'ing my fish and letting my new display sit fallow, I really need to QT.
