Octo Extreme 160 micro bubble problem

I am having a lot of trouble with micro bubbles will this stop after it breaks in. When I put my 200 on my other tank I had no bubbles at all. The skimmer is running in 10 inches of water and was set up on Saturday. Minimum foam so far but a sump full of bubbles.

give it time, once it breaks in it will get better

yes it will get better. I would run it about 9 inches as well. not a big deal though.

how do you have the drain pipe, if you put it right at the edge of the top of water will help also
