i've bought an octo for 2 days now and have been trying to feed it some fish. the thing is the fish just died so i added some hermit crabs for now since there are no available crabs in my pet store. 1 day has gone by and he still hasn't eaten. that's 2 days without food. should i be worried? and another thing, should i remove the hermit crab from it shell before adding it to the tank? because when i remove one from its shell it starts to fight with other hermit crabs for their shell and i don't want that to happen. i'm new with octos so please be gentle with the answers. thanks!
