October Meeting Information

The next Rockford Reefers club meeting will be help on October 10th at 12pm at the home of Jeremy Thompson in Rochelle,IL. We will be checking out his 180 gallon setup. We also have some test kits and a marine invertebrate book to raffle off. There will be samples of Rod's new algae food. There will also be some original Rod's food to give away as well. We would also like to go over some club business.

Hey everybody, I'm looking forward to seeing you all. And sharing what I've been up to with my tank. Plus, I printed out a bunch of pictures of zoanthids, so it looks like my whole house is wallpapered with them. Ok...actually I didn't do anything like that. But hopefully you'll enjoy just looking at the live stuff in the tank. See you Saturday. :fish1:

By the way, does anybody happen to be growing any phyto they'd be willing to share. I have some amphipods and copepods I thought I'd try multiplying in a little tank. But the phyto starter culture I ordered won't be sent out till after the holiday. So a small serving of something for them to eat for a few days would be awesome. If not, don't worry about it. Maybe they'll like peanut butter or something good like that.
