october meeting

If thats still the weekend its on (28th or 29th) thats my weekend off so count me in. The meetings so far are a blast.

Just a note, I always have every other weekend off, Im not sure how everybody elses schedule works, but if alot of people work every other weekend we should find out which weekend they work, then plan on rotating weekends for meetings so everybody has a chance to make it to one, or if we are all on the same weekend keep it on that one.

Cause i noticed that the last meeting and the oct. meeting are on the same weekend off (mine, but maybe not sombody elses)......just a thought.
 
that's Mako's rotation too. I chose it because that is my husbands weekend to work... for now, please know that they're threatening to put those guys back onto 12 hour swing so if that goes through there is a chance that I may have to cancel or reschedule, but for now it's a go.
Also, hopefully I'll have that 45g tank and get it drilled so that we can rebuild, or at least get me started!
 
Jessica--Is this meeting still a go? If it is it would be nice to get a new thread started (October Meeting now Set...) with the date, time & directions listed in the first post so we can sticky it and people can start planning on/around it.
 
Too bad I can't attend. I got a really hot gig setting up some of my sculptures in LA for actress Jodi Foster's Halloween Party.

Anyone want to be my tank sitter while I am gone? My usual sitter might be going in for surgery.

Saturday rules me out. One of the guys in my department is getting married and since there is only 3 of us I am pretty much obligated to go. See you all next time.
 
Hi all! Not too organized I know, but thanks Spike for sticky-ing this thread.

Yes to confirm, the meet is on and it is being held on Saturday October 28th at 1:00.

Directions:
hwy 41/141 north out of Green Bay to Abrams. The highway splits in Abrams so be sure to stay in the far left lane (towards Iron Mt). After you go under the overpasses you'll see signs for County E, turn left on E. Watch your odometer, we're 4.7 miles from the highway. Fire number is 7515 and we're on the left/south side of the road. Watch for the white arrow shaped sign on top of a small hill, we're directly across from that, and don't feel bad if you miss the driveway, almost everybody does. It's a cedar sided ranch set back off the road with an attached and unattached garage, green mailbox in the driveway, not out by the road... need more details? :p Phone is 826-4777.

And yes, you can bring your sump along. I'll look at it and offer suggestions.

If you hurry, it can be done in time for the meeting, and you can show it off.

I am going to be under the gun on this one and only have about 7 days to do my work. I get gigs like this from a network of clients and friends I have accumilated through the years. This gig I got through a good friend of mine in Vegas. He is a magician that performs at ritzy parties.
