October MTRC Meeting

Personally, it isn't that I don't want to come, usually I just can't. I live an 1 hour away from Nashville, have kids and a working farm. Probably too many irons in the fire. I would be willing to donate frags for the frag swap/raffle stuff, if anyone wants me to.

You must be Brandon it happens all the time it speeds up the decay process because of the gas that is given off.

Lori you have participated quite a bit for someone living so far away.

Am I the only one who has never actually seen this?

And Justin, this isn't directed at you... I'm just curious. I have never had one bad apple in our fruit basket ruin the rest. Has anyone else?

Brandon

Neither have I.

then i guess theres alot of ripening going on right now LOL and i'd be happy to donate to the frag swap.....i can donate my HA lol i just know that this will be my first meeting and god willing we'll be there :D

Fo real fruit; bscteria or fugi on one apple will infect the other in a batch. The fruit gives off a has that promotes ripening which I the rotten fruit is not removed will lead to over ripening which is rotten. So yes rotten fruit does ripen others at an accelerated rate with leads to rotten fruit.

See? My presence promotes a scientific discussion which helps enrich the minds of all.

I was at EBay yesterday. Scott told me 5:30. You may want to call and confirm that. Actually, I'm going back up there tomorrow to pick up something. I can verify time for you guys and let ya know.

I see. Who knew fruits had hormones?

I wonder if apples hit menopause...
