Are you taking photos through the glass? They are awefully good pics. I've been trying to find a waterproof digital point and shoot for aquarium pics, but yours look GREAT

Yes I took all the pics through the glass except the top view pics but still not under water. I would love to try the waterproof camera as well.

PS. I am using Nikon d60 with 18-55.
 
Your tank and photos my be selling Nikons as well(you want to give some photography lessons on the side?). I may look into your setup for my self...OH THE PAIN OF CAMERA ENVY(and an empty wallet)....

I really do not have any secrets or special tips in taking photo. You probably know or try this already but here is my camera set up.

First, I shut off all the surrounding lights.

I use P mode set ISO as low as possible. 100 for me (there is less noise with low ISO)

Before I start shooting, I try different WB set up to see which one gives you

the pics close to what you actually see in terms of color and etc.

And here is the most important part, try to hold the camera as still as possible

while you taking pics. Sometimes, take as many as you want and choose the

best one out of those pics.
