octopus BH 100 troubles

Hello all this is my first post. I am haveing some troubles with my skimmer lastnight I cleaned it up just a bit and when i put it back on the tank man there is so many micro bubbles.The skimmer isnt old and when it was new like a month ago it didnt even do this I assumed the cleaning do this but iam not sure it just doesnt seem like its right any ideas on what i should do?I let it run lastnight and this morning no water at all in the collection cup man this is frustrating my critters are lookin aliitel more stressed than I am I can send pic if needed I assume I have it back together right
 
Since you cleaned it, it cuold be possible that you're throwing more bubbles. You didn't use anything detergent wise, did you? I have the same exact skimmer and noticed if you turn the output elbow to face the back of the tank it will help with bubbles big time. Other than that, if you didn't use any type of soap or cleaning agent, I would give it a day or so so it can build up a slime coat on the inside.

I wouldn't worry about it yet.
 
can you position the output of the skimmer into your filter sock? if not you could easily make a small filter sock for your skimmer output with some felt and a sewing kit. Good luck!
 
Or take the sponge that came with it and stick it in the top of the return chamber. Easilly accessible and will cut down on the bubbles.
I had to do that for a little while in my ap24
