Octopus skimmers....Need Input

Hey guys, I know these arent the top dog skimmers, but the "Octopus Shredder" seems like a darn good option for my tank (75 net gallons). This thing is rated for 250g (I know that means nothing), and it has a 7.5" diameter chamber and its 24" tall (thats the largest skimmer I can fit in my sump). I found this skimmer online for $140....that seems like a damn good deal if this thing is worth half a crap.. Please give me your input on these things

I know there was a thread on these a while back but I cant find it and I never read it :(

here is a link to a place selling it --> http://www.aquariumsnstuff.com/product_info.php?products_id=409

Wish you lived closer, you should see my collection!! looks like you are about to do what I and several others have done.... buy this skimmer then, that one, then this one.. (I have 6 skimmers right now, so believe me I am not ragging on you) (been there)
Horance, if you don't mind playing around with pumps and skimmers (I like trying different combos) buy the last one you posted. but be aware that the pumps are cheap and will shock you!-if not at first- within a few months (if it last that long) a gen-x 2400 may be a good replacement for it.
If you want to buy one you do not have to replace sell your asm mini- pick up a g3. or a g2 if that one will not fit.
Better yet- get a euro r/c ---- or---- the Best one I have tried is Deltec--- they are plug and play very good quality!!! (still have to clean it thought) :)

There is tread on these skimmers, looks like the china imports are using a differant pump now! Pics look good! I may have to get on too try! ;)

Yeah I thought the one I listed was a needle wheel at first. I dont want one without the needlewheel. Right now I am using a DIY recirc skimmer with a genx2400 pump. The chamber is a bit small though (4"). I am going to look into re-building my current one with a bigger chamber (6" or 8"). I think the turbulance in my skimmer is probably very high. The other problem is I only have 24" to work with.
