Hi I am looking for an octopus and they seem to be hard to come by. I found that you sold Octopus. I just wanted to know what are some of the most common once that you get. I also wanted to make sure I would not get a blue ring or some dangerous like them.

Thank :)

just a note, i hope you dont plan on putting an octopus in your reef tank or anyother tank with ANYTHING else in it, because the octopus will eat everything in it, also i hope you are looking into the proper food for these they usually require live food such as crabs etc

A friend of mine is giveing me his tank and I just plan on having a octopus in it. My father has kept marine sharks for years and is willing to help me find good food for it and take care of this difficult animal.

Oh one more question. I red on an octopus care site that most octopus are ok living in a tank 50 gal or larger is this correct.

Thank you for your patience while we received this information. The species of Octopus typically shipped from our facility is Octopus vulgaris. Precautions are taken to ensure that a venomous specimen is not shipped to our customers when this item is purchased.
