Odd acting clown

I have two false percs in a newly established 75g aquarium. They are the only fish in the tank. I have had them for about three weeks now. One is noticeably larger than the other, and always has been. The larger one is around 1" in length and the smaller is around 3/4". Up until yesterday both clowns would stay out in the tank in good view. Yesterday I noticed the smaller clown of the two was hiding in the corner behind some live rock facing upward in the corner. Today he has moved into a cave area in the live rock. He hasnt come out for two days, and it just seems odd. All water parameters are good, and just did a 10 gallon water change. Salt is at 1.025, ph 8.4.

I dont see anything that appears to be eggs in the general area. I noticed that after the actnics went off last night, the larger fish went down to where this one was at and stayed down there until morning.

Also, the smaller fish is exibiting wierd swimming behavior in that he will just kind of paddle and keep his mouth straight up, or straight down.

are they mated already?

if not... they might be going through the fighting to figure out which one is gonna be male and female

or sounds like they might be getting ready to kick the bucket..... sorry
