Odd clown behavior

I have had a new clown in quarantine for about 3 weeks. He is eating well and looks good except over the last few days he has started acting crazy. He races around the tank, attacks the water surface like he is feeding and just spins around in place. He spins like he is doing summer salts. Ideas.
Last night I watched him with only the moonlights on and he looked "normal". Do you think he is just very excited to see me or maybe the food I provide?? R

sorry cant help you, but try posting in the clownfish forum. Alot of clown experts hang out there and could probably answer your question
