Odd fish friends.

I have two clowns, Lizzy (percula) and Darcy (picasso):

This guy (Bingley) lives with them:



Lizzy and Bingley seem to be great friends, i honestly think Bingley is the reason my clowns don't show much interest in each other. Lizzy will gladly share food with Bingley and i've even seen him twitching at her and even stranger she twitches back. Bingley also seems very protective of his friend, he doesn't like to let little Darcy anywhere close.

Any other odd fish friendships out there?

As far as fish relationships.. I had a lawnmower blenny and a occellaris clown once that were hosted by a toadstool But, that was before forums (for me anyway ) and I never thought to take a picture! lol

Buy Jane for Bingley and he'll be too interested in her to pay any attention to Lizzy. :lolspin:

In the first picture you provided the one on the right (presumably Lizzy?) is an ocellaris, not a percula. I've heard that it can take a little longer to pair a percula with an ocellaris, though in my experience pairing clowns of any species can vary widely depending on the personalities of the fish. I'd just give them some more time to figure things out; after all, it took Lizzy quite a while to decide that she liked Darcy after all. Maybe it's the names you chose.

How long have they been together? Are you sure the damsel is Bingley and not Wickham? Okay okay, I'm stopping myself now. :lmao:
