Odd Polyp Extension

Wondering if this is normal or odd.

Just brought home a 2-3 inch acro. It has the normal "single" tentacle polyp extension everywhere on the coral.

However, towards the base of the acro, there are two polyps that have "fans" that come out and go back in (as if filter feeding).

Any ideas?

Can it spread or will it stay as is? What's the best way to get rid of it if I wanted to?

I doubt it will spread, I would use a hypodermic needle to kill it. Fill it with vinegar or kalk
