mot people down play them but i have had one for over 2 years with no problems. I even buy here bulbs every 8 months and here is my tank.

Ive had the 48" model for over a year. My only complaints are the ballasts. IMO they are junk. I swapped my ballasts w/ Lumetak's and the light output was night and day. One of my chalices actually started to bleach out because the sudden light output was so much more.
