% of losses using levimisole?

Use some sort of skimming, have stable Ca/alk/Mg supplementation and good flow in the QT. I lost several more pieces in the frag tank after my treatments because of alk instabilties.

Hmm...so I'm wondering because 95% of my corals will be in a 40 gallon QT tank if I should pull off my Calcium reactor and put it on the QT? What do you guys think or is that going overboard?

Dendai, have you lost any SPS so far with your treatment? Are you using a QT?

I'll be pulling off my vortech in the main tank as a way to supply water flow in the QT.

I haven't made the plundge yet because I know how finicky SPS can be and I want to be absolutely prepared.

How strong of a dip do you do with the levamisole?

Just to you have an ideia how strong was my infestation with this pests

Before almost dying and now recovering the tissue and color after the dips

I also cuted off the base when I found some eggs

so thats 150mg dry powder for 1.3 gal?.. if you mix all the solution in the bottle to the 500 ml line as directed and use 60 ppm like Travis Im thinking your dosage is much higher.. Also, are you dipping the corals and putting them back in your main display?

Yes....dry powder. I take the tablet and dissolve in the water

2 hours of dip and them go back to the main display

There is no connection between the box dip and the main tank

So you left your main tank without Acros during the weeks that you were treating? Just wondering if you kept them in QT between dips and not in the main tank.

Hi tbone,

The interval between the dips is 25 days.

It´s almost one dip per month...I think this is the time to the eggs become little AEFW...so I can kill them

In the first dip I found a lot of Big AEFW...in the last, just 8 and all off them was small one

Thanks for the clarification, Dendai. So it's basically a 4-month process from beginning to end. Is it safe to assume that you used the same concentration of levamisole with each dip?
