I have game used bats from Jim Thome (signed and really good game use), Brian Giles, and Julio Franco (a monster). All with the Indians.

Does anyone out there collect this type of stuff?

My pops pitched for the A's and Cardinals a while back (80's), and we have all kinds of memorabilia from those times.

The majority is just autographed baseballs, but we've got some bats, gloves, and other odds and ends that the players would give me when I was running around the locker room as a little tyke...

It's pretty cool to go through. I wish I would have been older so I could have a better memory of those times... Man this is gonna make me go home for a weekend to leaf through everything again...

That is pretty cool!

I used to collect a ton of autographs as a teenager at Municipal Stadium, and even into my early twenties, my friend and I would always end up taking his kid sister and brother after games at Jacobs Field and wait by the parking lot. Even that was a lot of fun. We even used to go to Pittsburgh for games to see the National League teams and do the same. It was pretty easy there, as it was before games at Municipal.

I lived in California for a number of years after my father finished playing. One of the more amusing memories I had, was getting Randy Johnson's autograph at a game at the Oakland Coliseum.

I had 2 baseballs with me, one was a give away that night, and the other was a ball I brought. Anyway I toss the ball over the dugout to Randy Johnson, he looks at me and chuckles a little, signs it, then tosses the ball back up... After I caught the ball, I realized what he was laughing about...

I had accidently tossed him the give away ball with the A's emblem on it.

I'm sure it was the first of many that night though, but amusing nonetheless.
