I recently posted my car for sale on here because of health conditions and needing to sell to pay medical bills. I did not go into detail on the ad but never the less I posted as an o/t ad. I recieved a notice from reef central that they were pulling my ad because it was not reef related. OK, I understand that but what about all the other off topic post on here? Am I to believe that every ad on here but mine it reef related!

By the way my Dad had a 66 with a 396, Holly 4 barrel carb and a 4
speed with a Hurst shifter. Wish I had that car, probably the only four
door family sedan (with bench seats) Impala ever ordered that way.)

If this is the way that this forum work then I don't think I want to be apart of it and I sure wont suggest it to any one else.

You're not going to suggest that anyone visits ReefCentral for information regarding ReefKeeping because they won't allow you to sell your car on here?

Typically, most OT threads don't involve selling as I remember. They seem to be very picky when people sell things on RC. You have to price everything and usually they have to be reef-related.

Yes, I believe that it is only selling items that have to be reef related. I tried selling lizards on here once and they removed that as well, alot closer to a fish than a car. So your not the only one, and I can understand their reasoning.

I'm sorry you're having to sell your car. I know that while they'll allow OT posts in the club forums, I know that they pull OT sale items regularly.

That is like arguing with a cop that pulled you over for speeding

With the volume of daily posts it is impossible for us to monitor each and every one, so some to slip by, just like some speeders don't get caught. In our case, we rely a great deal on other people reporting these things to us. If your feeling singled out, don't. You just joined a long list, however, most people just say "Sorry, I didn't realize that" and that's the end of it.

BTW, posting of private emails is very tacky to say the least. Had Agu remembered to use our "disclaimer" at the end of his email to you, it would be a bannable offense. So consider yourself lucky
