Hi all,
I am sorry that it's off topic to mantis shrimp but I have to ask. I have two mantis tank and one of them has way tooooo many pods. I don't like it. Is there any way I can get rid of those? Is there any fish or shrimp that eat those?
Thanks in advance.

mandarin fish would wipe them out real quick. but its probably not safe with mantis, since they hang near the substrate.

Get a small, fast damsel. Both of my O. scyllarus ignore their damsel roomate, and it wouldn't be a ,assive $ loss, should they prove incompatible roomies...

Thank you all for replies.
Yeah I agree with Vince that mandarin fish will not be too safe. Even My g. falcatus is very shy, I don't wanna take a chance. It is kinda weird that my mantis shrimp is not eating dwarf hermit crabs at all. One time one of the hermit crabs went into Wimpy's (falcatus's name) house and all she did was...grab the hermit crab, took it outside and come back into his house. So disappointing and funny... I thought I would watch some action. Disappointed that nothing happened. Funny that my mantis shrimp is so gentle(?) unlike the other mantis shrimps...:D
Ok...back to the topic. According to what Ron told me to get, I guess that the damsels eat pods huh? Any kind of damsel will eat pods?

Just about any small fish will eat pods if they are accessable. There are some, like mandarins and lawnmower blenny's, that their diet consists of pods. Just grab that yellowtail out of your 6g, transfer him into the mantis tank, let him eat pods, then put him back in the other one. If he gets eaten... no big loss... just buy another one!

Thanks 30mini! I was going to do that but the only few of the pods are left now. Not sure what happened to them but I guess my 2 small clownfishes ate them. My tank is finally clean!~ :)
Thank you for your help, everyone.
