Offering some *True Blane PPE's* Locally to club members!

Hey guys,

I'm offering some Ture Blane PPE's - I have a couple frags availible $35 per polyp.
Most frags are 3 polyps, I have a couple 2 polyp frags and 1 single polyp frag. I also have one or two biger frags 5-8 polyps.

the price has come down a lot they PPE's used to go for 50 bucks a polyp.

PPE's are still going for $40-60 per polyp now adays - frh674 those expensive polyps are something ealse - understand there is a collectors aspect to this hobby not only the common stuff you see in shops.
The PPE's have a history and are fairly rare. If your not into collecting rare or unusual corals these are of no intrest to you. You can get nice normal Zoanthid frags for a few bucks.

I don't understand why people post their opinions, when not asked for. If your interested great if not don't post.

I don't understand why people would get upset about politely stated opinions of dissent on an open discussion forum. Come on! He was shocked and surprised at the cost of your rare zoas. So just explain it to him, as you did quite well, but leave out the rest. High priced items are always gonna have critics.

No matter how politely stated it is still considered rude by most people to make negative comments about prices in a for sale thread.

Wow, if you guys think this is bad you should see the car forum I go on. Its all Internet drama, but when they see the person in real life they are humble. Personally, anything said on the Internet I don't take too serious or get offended.

If you post something up for sale or even for people to look at, ALWAYS expect the truth. There will always be someone who doesn't like this or that.

BTW I wish I could buy a frag, but its rather expensive for me.

While I understand this sentiment, I think there are two factors to consider that make it OK in many circumstances:
1) This is the FMAS club forum, we are all in the same club, supposedly looking out for one another's interests. So lets say you spotted, on this FMAS club forum, an obviously way overpriced offer for an inferior item, and a new club member responds that he is seriously interested. Do you not feel some obligation to tell this new fellow member of our club: "Hey friend, this is really not a good idea, you are about to get ripped off by an opportunistic seller taking adavatage of your ignorance" ??Granted, Juan Carlos zoas don't fit this scenario, but we are all gonna have different opinions about what is a fair asking price.
2) The product speaks for itself! The seller sold out, and did so fast! The seller, Juan Carlos, did a more than adequate job of explaining the price. Honesly, I think the questioning of the price and JCs response actually made the product more desireable since more people now understand why they are valuable zoas. Hurray for both free market capitalism and the free exchange of ideas!
