Official Borbonius Anthias Thread

how many people still have these kicking around...i would like to get some but the odds of getting some in canada are probably rare with an even rarer price tag....would be nice to get some hopefully i can scam something and get one or two...

Actually I've seen them more than enough times in the Toronto area ;-D Sometimes with quite a reasonable price tag, but certainly not as low as US$79 posted on an earlier post.

I have three in my tank and they are doing fine.

Still have 3 of my original 5 since March. One died right away. The other just died about a month ago but he was always a loner and picked on since day one.

Thanks... nothing like 5 Home Depot flood lights shining on a 30g tank to brighten ones pics up... LOL. Poor fish, they don't even have light over their tanks on a day to day basis.

Finally!! after losing my during a tank move i finally find another! It was at the near by LFS that i dont really visit too much but they had this one there for quite some time now (maybe one year?) hopefully this one will last forever!!

I have one female anthias in my 180 gallon reef setup and am thinking of adding a male and was wondering how many more females would be the min. that I should have along with the male. I currently have 8 fish in the tank along with quite a bit of growing sps coral so I dont want to add more fish then what i have to to keep everyone happy.
thanks
Jeff

Jeff, how do you sex male and female?

I'm so excited! I found a new LFS who sells these 100 each, and trios of flame wrasses for 250. I can't wait to start up my new tank.

I didn't expect this when I was feeding the scorps tonight.
