Hawkfish are the devil! At least that's how I feel about the falco I had. Sit there looking at you, then you turn your back and they get vicious and annoy corals.

still one of my very favorite fish!

I have a Falco and really like him! Very curious and tends to perch on things that don't like it. Zoas, Paly, xenia....anything soft and/or flat.

i walk by that end of the tank numerous times a day. i think he perches there when he sees me coming because he wants food. the bigger hawkfish perches at the same end on a power head. i should probably find a different spot for the mushroom.

Me thinks he needs a little "Yee" fish. The two would just honky tonk and leave the mushroom alone.
