I'm back! Have been so crazy busy lately with trying to run this darn greenhouse business I havn't had time to get on. (as if i have time now) Did ya miss me?

Missed ya kiddo! hope all is growing well. Will you be able to come to the meeting? LMK if you are and :want some more xenia. also have green star polyps if you'd like.:love1:

Hey buddy, Glad to have you back. I have been waitin to catch up to you on aim but haven't seen you on. I was beginning to wonder why. How are those cichlids doing?

Yeah Janie, im planning on coming. I'll take some xenia, but don't need any more damn star polyps... James... they are doing great. The tank is going through a bit of a green algae bloom but it seems to be clearing. I set up a 75 for the babies. Babies babies here and there... babies babies EVERYWHERE haha. I have 38 chicken eggs due to hatch on the 11th too. yepee!

Heh. I'll take some GSP at the next meeting. I have a nice coraline-covered back wall I'd like to attach them too and see if they take. :)

I have kept cichlids before and raising the young was always a cool thing. It made the parents terrors in my general 135G tank though. :D

Scott, I have both a dark and light green of the GSP, which would you like? Did that Xenia make it this time?

what kind of cichlids?

Janie, do you have any of the "big" green star polyps? The kind I have is pretty small and tight to the mat... not quite as cool as the kind that blows in the current more...

Janie, either color is fine -- but the bigger the polyps the better. The Xenia was doing great until I moved it to a new location to get it out of the strong current. It flopped down some and now is looking sickly after having to be rescued from the attentions of my new pistol shrimp.

Joel, nothing spectacular -- I had two pairs of kribs. When one paired up, they took over 4-1/2' of a 6' long tank and chanced about 50 fish into the other 1-1/2' (including two large geo. juruparis and 6 medium sized clown loaches). It was really cool to see them take 40 fry for a "walk" around the tank. I ended up donating about 20 or 30 of that first batch to Aquarium. And I had a 10G tank at work that went on about 5 years with multiple generations of neo. brichardis -- until the "cleaning crew incident" killed all in one evening. I had 18 from that first batch donated to Fish N Skins, but after that I let survival of the fittest reign. I have raised other fish from eggs (such as various gouramis and austalian rainbowfish), but those were the only two cichilds I've had.
