Oh yea, Black Tangs back in stock

:eek2: Ya, I don't get it either. I think it's more of a "my fish is rarer/more expensive than yours" type thing.

I personally would not spend 600 on any one fish no matter how it looked. I'm sorry but a fish costing more than my dog is rediculous, and he had papers!

I love the Marine Center's recommended tank size for the fish they carry. It's almost laughable. Imperator Angelfish - minimum tank size 55g. Ok, I just laughed...

Totally pathetic tank req ratings.

55g for a sohal? yikes!

I have seen a full grown clown tang (15") in a 180g tank and it was tight. They are so powerfull when full grown.

Anyone know if they are much prettier in person?

Just wondering if they're like Scopas Tangs, which look pretty 'blah' in most pictures, but up close have really nice, subtle patterns.

No, I've seen one in person, and just plain black. Nothing special if you ask me, I'd rather something with some color.

Thanks InLimbo87 et al.
I've always wondered about seeing this one as well as the Gem Tang in person. I haven't had the pleasure yet.

tang salad-
your avatar is one of the coolest ones on here, i love it. kudos dude.

Thanks man...
If a few guys pitch in a hundred each, maybe I can afford to add a Black Tang in there. :)

I really like the black tangs. If they were the price of a yellow tang, I'd definitely get one. They are just black in person. Then again, out of my blue tang, yellow tang, and convict tang, my convict tang is my favorite. Go figure.

Ive noticed that their tank requirements are insane. 20g for a yellow tang is ridiculous.
