It took me about 3 years to get my present tank where I wanted it. RC can help you alot getting a tank setup right from the start.

I finally got comfortable with mine when I came to the conclusion that there are always going to be people out there with a nice set up.......it is not nessesaroly "nicer" than yours....just "different".

Set it up the way "YOU" want it and let it go....

this is the addictive side of this hobby, you are never saticefied, and when you cant have everything that you want in one tank, one becomes two and then three four and five follow, and before you know it you are on the street corner bumming change for clown gobies (well maybe not that bad, but it can get there lol )

I've found keeping your hands out of the tank and letting it develope leads to some interesting results.

Have three year old nano that's only had minimal changes in the last year. And that's only because an open brain coral got too big, and I got an awesome frag that was perfect for the tank.

Two year old mantis tank is basically unchanged too.

So I set up another tank. That's almost the way I want it.

Now I'm working on a fourth tank.

It's one of the great things about having nanos .
