OK guys: What's the deal with the DC4s??

I have read various accounts of problems with the DC4s and I really need to distill this down to whether I can buy them or not. Because of the high amp nature of my system running 3 sequence pumps and 3 - 1000W MH lamps, Neptune tells me I need 3 of the HD DC4s but I certainly don't want to lay out that cash if there are going to be problems!!!

I believe there was a problem with the fuse holder for them but it has been changed I believe. I have a DC4 and it has blown one fuse in the last six months. Other than that there have been no problems. If you buy them I would asks for a couple extra fuses because they are not standard radio shack type fuses. Overall I am very satisfied with my DC4.

Just buy the heavy duty one and you shouldn't have any problems. I run 3 400W MH and PC's on mine.......w/an aquacontroller and never blew a fuse.
