Sounds like a pretty good stocking load, although I don't know much about those species of anthias so I can't comment there.

Make sure to post up a build thread when you start this tank. Are you doing it fish-only or will you be doing corals as well?

I shall do that, I have the tank up and running with live sand and about 15lbs of live rock in there for now. I'll have to wait until I get back from vacation to put in more rock though.

I'm not really interested in doing corals again even still if I upgraded lights I think the only main thing I would want to get is an anemone but still not thinking that will happen for quite sometime. Much more of a fowlr kinda guy nowadays

Any pics or did you start a build thread? Post the link if you did.

Of the three anthias you posted, the Ignitus is the easy to keep IMO. They are out and about more and acclimate easily. HTH:)

ok im going to go with the cherub pygmy angel instead of the anthias, I just think the anthias needs a lot more room than I want to provide at this time.

If they were going in the 29 gallon I totally agree (there was no tank size posted in the thread). Thanks for being responsible and doing your homework...unfortunately, there are too many in this hobby who don't care about the animal and it't needs. Good luck with your tank...looks like a nice lineup. Should be incredible! Marcye

well I remember once upon a time you helped me along with being more responsible and researching my products miss Marcye . . . . my mother told me to listen to you after she met you that one day years back lol
