How do you plan to glue them in there. I never found anything that would stick to the plastic those tubes are made of. I think they might have some kind of Teflon or UHMW in the mix of plastic. Let me know if you have something that works. It's not glued in there yet, just form fitted.
That's what I originally tried and with a mild twist and turn it popped right out. If that's what you're going to use I would try and pull it out after you glue it up before putting water in it. I was going to try PVC cleaner, then glue. I will ask Jim how he glued his into the sump on him softy frag tank.
