I am thinking that thing has to be fried! Your best fix is to but a new one. sorry

I once spilled a bucket of water on a brand new stereo and fried it instantly. Saltwater is not forgiving on electronics at all.

You can attempt to clean the salt off with a solvent that does not leave a residue. This will work if the problems are caused by a short from the salt. If something got fried then you are SOL.

I'm sure Roger will chime in when he's able. What I'd do in the mean time is thoroughly rinse the board in RO water, making sure to remove all of the salt residue. Then, let it air dry for at least 24 hours and try it again.

In all likelihood it'll need to be replaced, but it's worth a shot.

I think it is completely fried, I would be willing to sell you a discounted replacement when i get more in stock.

can you PM me the price please.. and when do you think you will be getting them in stock?

Thanks

gabriel
