Ok...Let there be light!

The responses so far are great.
The lack of bulb changes really makes a huge difference to me. Not having to buy bulbs every few months means more livestock.

So if they are proven, and have all these added benefits, what are the downfalls? Other than initial cost of course.

I honestly cant think of ANY :)
 
2 radion pros are $1500. My 2x250 radium setup was about $500. No additional lighting needed. Obviously it's not a fair comparison because they're are not equivalent. I'm talking from basic requirement standpoint. Bulbs have been going for almost three years and they still look great. Lots of people can't/don't want to drop $1500 for lights.
 
Reef breeders leds are very well priced and work extremely good. I can grow all sorts of corals with these fixtures with no problems
