Hey guys been a while. Sorry got distracted with other big projects around the house that needed to be finished. Didn't really give the tank the time it deserved. But I kickstarted the process again. Hoping to have this running in the next few weeks. Here's some updates. Been working on it for the past couple weeks.

First decided to restain the tank to match the color of the new kitchen. So bit darker chocolate.

Finally got the ati lights installed. (2) 48" ati fixtures.

Started the plumbing process. Going to try to get it finished today.

Will have (2) Rx-u 2.0 reactors and a vertex calcium reactor and deleted kalkwasser stirrer.

Installed the (2) mp60's. Hopefully it's enough flow.... if not I have another mp40 there although I don't think it will hold on this glass.

Installed (2) dj strips. And the UV. Not sure what I'll be running on the Dj strips but I'd rather have them installed now and figure it out as I start the wiring organizing process. You guys that have APEX, do you have any use for the Dj strips ????

Was originally going to go bare bottom but wifeys only petition was to have sand so compromising I'm going to be adding crush coral. Also picked up that pan world locally for my water changing station that's going to go in the laundry room.

Color coordination is becoming very common with you metrosexual guys, lmao. :love2:

Imho-no need for DJ strip with Apex, but not a bad thing to have for simple things that don't need controlling. Example in my tank the sea swirls and the light to see Sump areais on a long power strip.

Excellent choice on lights. LEDs suck ( yeah folks don't bother bashing. Ive already gotten that from Sanjay Yoshi and Julian Sprung).:deadhorse::deadhorse:
