Photoshop. That's how most people get the wonderful amazing colors you see in the pics.

Very true. Ive seen a lot of nice tanks in person, but some of these pics are certainly "unreal"

IMO/IME remove fish poop as quickly as possible and feed your corals (and fishes!) appropriate foods in order to obtain the best coloration.
