6ft is minimum for many fish but like others said go as big as you can. My take is if you have to wait anoteher year to get a 10ft tank I would do that, the extra room is worth it.

Due to weight glass tanks are expensive to ship so don't forget acrylic

I would love to get a 10 ft tank, I would get kicked out of the house! Haha

And I would try and get it through the store I have heard I can avoid shipping like that!
