im about to do a freshwater dip on a kole tang i bought a few days ago. he looked healthy when we bought him, acclimated him, then he had been bullied by my regal tang and now is COVERED with icy. my regal tang showed signs for a few days but she's crystal clear now (shes a fatty).

im about to dip the kole tang (who I've moved to the sump to get her away from the regal). what do you guys think about adding a little cupramine to the dip? i cant dose my DT because of my stingray.

No point to add coper to a dip it wi do nothing for you. The ichs nit going to die or fall off. Copper only works on ichs thats fallen off the fish.

Neither a f/w dip or short term exposure to copper will help with Ich.

+1 Dips of any kind do nothing for ich. The parasite is buried to deep under the skin and the Cu of low SG of the FW can't touch it.

I assume you haven't been quarantining new fish. If that's the case, you've created a giant problem for yourself. You cannot cure ich in your display tank. I'd read about ich in the stickies above. All of your fish now have ich, even if you don't see it.
