Agreed, its about a 50% premium of buying individual but should be worth it if the pair is eating and less aggressive toward each other. It's hard to find one of these in healthy state (just like Blue Line and Goldflake angels). If I was home early and check out quick enough it would be coming to NJ next week. That female Venustus would have been nice too...

Hey flameangel, how do you know the venustus is a female? Is it the amount of blue?

The soft dorsal fin is less round (more straight) and the anal fin is more slope.

I just picked up a 3" female for $70. I was lucky enough that my LFS held it ofr a few weeks for me. It was eat well there.

Your BL will boss her around but shouldn't be too bad if there's a substantial size difference.
