Ok, WTH did I do to my Zoas ?

So I admit, my 40B was not getting much love since I set up the 135 and I was starting to see it go downhill. A couple of Zoas and Pallys were not doing well so while I was on vacation I mixed up 15G of water and did 3x 5G changes over 3 days. I also regenerated my Purigen packet I keep in the fuge.

That said, I'm starting to see my Zoas and Pallys come back (more are opening and the colony loss seems to have slowed) but my AOG and my Mohawks now have white / almost clear fringes. I admit, I haven't done a complete set of tests but I also noticed my birdsnest growth has gone through the roof with a TON of new points.
Thoughts ?

Have they been closed up for a while or not have enough light getting to them? I had some kedd redds that were closed up for about a week then finally decided to open and they had color loss just like you described but after a couple weeks their color is completely back.

Not really, the ones that are open were opening up before (well maybe 75% of them) but I will say that I have noticed a ton of new babies forming in the past few days since the water change as well
