I am VERY close to stocking my tank. I need some zoa's, shroom's, and LPS's. How many of you guy's sell them? I have looked at LFS and they don't seem to have a great selection of zoa's and LPS's like I see online and in some of your tanks. I would rather buy what I can local and avoid the problems and cost of shipping. I really don't have any specific corals I want just a good starter pack. I plan on adding some easy sps's after the tank matures some. Who ever I buy from needs to give me some guidance as in what to get and where to put it. Okay, who wants to put me a starter pack together?

I have a variety of stuff... But some of it is high in cost... LMK what you're looking for and maybe I can throw you something together... There are a bunch of other people on here that have stuff available too though!!! :)

I was curious about whether corals were seasonal. I guess you answered that Acrodave. Randy I really don't know what I want. I guess a good place to start would be some shrooms and zoas. The only limitation right now on what I will keep is my tank being new.

Lots of frags in these parts.....especially easy to keep stuff that eventually grows like weeds in most tanks. Lots of other stuff too. Best thing is to post what your looking for or look for others posting things for sale. I know I'll get around to fraggng some more stuff over Christmas break.

I have a couple types of green-skirt zoanthids that can be easily fragged. And some red mushrooms I could easily pull out. And one small galaxea frag ready to go if the pistol shrimp hasn't run off with it yet. I could also cut off a small piece of my green candy cane. Just let me know if you are interested in any of this stuff.

Okay guys it looks like I want have any trouble buying frags! I am still missing a very important part of my reef. LIGHTING!! I have 2 n.o. flourscent tubes over it now but should have my 4 bulb T-5 fixture in a week. When I get my light I will start buying some frags. I will start with some easy stuff like shroom's and see how they do. I really don't have a goal as in what I want my tank to be. Do you guys specialize in certain types of corals? Is there any thing wrong with mixing zoas, shrooms, lps, and sps? My fear is I will add something to my tank that will not allow me to keep some thing I really like. My problem is I have'nt meet a coral I did'nt like.LOL

Just be careful adding things that can take over a tank real easy....I can just kick myself for adding lots of things when I started that have turned into weeds on me choking out or stinging everything in its path. The list is long but one mans weed is another mans treasure! ;)

Whatever you do don't add any plain, fast growing ugly brown zoas (button polyps) thinking they will be cool and something to look at till you can afford something else. In the end thats ALL you will be looking at! That and tulip anemonies. Why oh why did I ever add those I wonder  Good luck getting some nice things to get you going!
