Hey guys,
I've got some old equipment taking up space in my garage, and I'd like to move it out. I've got about a half dozen heaters in unknown condition, some ancient, some new, some submersible, some hang-on. If you want to try your luck with one, they're free. Same goes for air pumps, - I've got three or four in varying sizes and conditions, as well as one small maxi jet (not sure if it still works, it makes noise when you plug it in but no water moves. vinegar maybe?) and a zoomed rotating filter (confirmed working). I also have an Emperor 400 with 4 years of use on it, bio wheels and media containers included, but no media, also free. It's kinda crusty, but it still works. I also have a CPR BakPak 2R that's been used for two years, works fine, with a brand new rio pump. The pump didn't come with a venturi fitting, so I used one from the first pump on the skimmer, and it's sorta buggy - if you bump it too hard, it will sometimes stop working, so you might want to just buy a new venturi pump. I also lost the rubber band for the skimmer cup, but a regular rubber band works just as well. I'm asking $40 for it or, preferably, a few frags. Also, if anyone needs any fish food or chemicals, I have boxes and boxes of the stuff that I have no use for, mostly for freshwater tropical aquariums and goldfish. This is also free. I've got a TON of other equipment/supplies all over the place, mostly freshwater, a few filters, a tank or two, other random stuff. If you're crazy enough to want all of the above, $100 (or frags) will clean out all of my fish-related boxes in the attic and garage. You might want to bring a truck (yes, this would be a pick up job. I'm in Huntington Station)
PM me if you're interested. I plan on attending the next meeting, but that depends entirely on whether or not I pass the road test. So we'll see.
Mike
