I think I made a mistake. My ritteri was on a rock pedestal and happened to touch the front glass and climb up. It did this yesterday and I was able to easily and gently remove it from the glass and put it back on the pedestal.
Moved it back to the rock without any issue but didn't move the rock away from glass and it repeated the behavior again today.
The problem is today it was really, really attached to the glass and as I was pulling it off, it looked like there was some tissue left behind. I don't see a discrete pedal laceration but now the anemone is not sticking to anything and isn't really stinging me (like normal). It's still inflated but I'm not sure what to do.
I tried holding it for about 30 minutes hoping it would attach but to no avail.
I've now got it under a large acclimation box with the base on the top of the rock pedestal. Any ideas?
